Zimbabwe born Clare, studied Fine Art at The University of Cape Town, majoring in print making. While living in London she attended ceramics classes. Clare now works from her Turramurra studio.
Her beautiful pieces are a reflection of her family history, exploration of tradition and her interpretation of what it means to create.
Clare makes her own glazes, hand stitches her moulds and creates very limited pieces. Each piece has its own story and beautiful energy, whilst still being functional.
