Clare Unger Workshop. Making a ceramic Bowl and Spoon. Saturday August 27th. 1 - 4pm.

Regular price $150.00
Unit price  per
Tax included.

In this workshop we will be making a handmade ceramic bowl and spoon. We will focus not only on HOW to make our pieces but also on WHY we make them.  We will texture clay using fabrics that inspire us with their stories and use a slab building technique to create the small bowl and spoon.

No experience with clay is needed as I will guide you through the making process and your finished pieces will be glazed and fired by me after the workshop.

Everything needed for the workshop will be provided including a selection of fabrics for use by participants, but I would like to encourage everyone to bring along a piece of fabric that they love or that has special memories. Please note that the fabric must have some textural detail that will transfer to the clay and may be soiled in the process although washing should remove any clay residue.
