The Possibility Project has patiently been waiting to host the incredible Jo Neville for two years! Jo is the artist and designer behind Paper Couture, one of Sydney’s most respected creative paper practices. She is the current artist in resident at Q Station, North Head, Manly. Jo is a delightful working artist, she will enlighten and entertain with insights into the creative process.
Join Jo in this wonderful workshop, Jo will share her knowledge of this beautiful bloom and will walk you through the steps to create two stunning fluffy watercolour Paper Dahlias.
Jo will share some of her most guarded methods of making organically gestured flower petals. This bloom is an advance flower to make, however, Jo has engineered a kit that works with all levels from beginner to experienced. She will touch on eco dying paper techniques too. You will go away with two stunning blooms and the confidence and tools to make more. All tools, kit and materials and afternoon tea are provided, just bring your hands.
Did you know dahlias symbolize elegance, inner strength, creativity, change, and dignity. They are also known to represent one who stands strong in his/her sacred values.
